  2. What Is VOIP? <ul><li>VoIP is a new form of telephone technology that uses IP packets to transfer voice over the internet instead of traditional analog signals over dedicated lines on the PSTN </li></ul>

Voice Over Internet Protocol <ul><li>How is VoIP different? </li></ul><ul><li> ◦ Instead of using the traditional public switched network (PSTN) like regular phones, VoIP uses packet switching technology to transfer voice over virtual private networks and the internet. </li></ul><ul><li>What we propose: </li></ul><ul><li> ◦ To lower costs and increase functionality by replacing our current telephone system with a new VoIP system. </li></ul>
