    • provide a patient centered perspective to researchers, managers and commissioners
  • 6. How do we achieve this?
    • Based on qualitative research
    • Advisory panel
    • For each condition -sample of 40-50 plus patients from all over U.K from different backgrounds and with different experiences (maximum variation sample)
    • Keep interviewing until no new themes, ideas, or experiences are voiced using thematic analysis
  • 7.
    • Patients recruited via GPs, support groups, hospitals, media etc
    • Narrative interviews -‘tell us your story’ unstructured and semi-structured interviews rather than ‘tick box questionnaire’
    • Outputs as video, audio and written interviews (to avoid bias)
    • Short summaries of main themes are written which include all experiences set with other research context

    • Research is presented on one website whether you are a patient, carer, doctor, researcher
    • Links to other relative information
