  2. 2.  A non-profit organization Founded by Adrienne Clarkson and John Raulston Saul To ensure new citizens are properly welcomed and share their hopes and dreams in a round table discussion before the swearing in. ICC has branches across Canada. It holds citizenship ceremonies in the community.
  3. 3.  Red River College Manitoba Human Rights Commission Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council Immigrant Centre And other cultural organizations participated in this event.
  4. 4.  Unlike most European countries Canada welcomes new citizens and encourages immigrants to take that step so that they can participate fully in Canadian life. Canada stands out from the pack because it encourages immigrants to share their culture with the rest of Canada so that we can all be better for it. There is unity in our diversity
