    • To care for your brain…. DRINK WATER
    • BREATHE DEEPLY (get lots of oxygen)
    • EAT HEALTHY FOOD
    • Water + Oxygen + Food = brain fuel
    • Brains also need SLEEP
    • Sleep well = think well
    • Napping is normal And helps you think better!
    • Our brains rest while we sleep, right? No!
    • Surprise: we learn while we sleep!
    • EXERCISE IS VERY IMPORTANT
    • Exercise boosts brain power
    • A review: healthy happy brain
    • What the brain does NOT need
    • Alcohol and drug misuse damages your brain!
    • Seek support, choose differently
    • You can rebuild your brain can recover
    • Also, lots of STRESS is bad for your brain
    • Stressed brain can’t learn well
    • Short term stress - OK
    • Long-term stress - BAD
    • Really: stress is bad for your brain!
    • Happy safe home = non stressed brain
    • Calm, happy brains learn well… so reduce your stress
    • Good news: Reducing stress is relaxing and fun!
