Checkthem off one project at a time and before you know it, you’ll be enjoying summerin a clean and organized home.Let’s start off simple… Thoroughly dust all the rooms in your house taking everything off of shelvesand getting every corner. Vacuum/Sweep all floors moving furniture out of the way as you go so youare cleaning every inch. Make note of any areas that will need extra cleaning Wipe down walls and closet doors. Wash or dry-clean curtains and drapes and wipe down blinds and shades. Wash and store heavy blankets and bedding Clean and air out area rugs.Step it up a notch… Scrub all outdoor furniture and move it to its warm weather location. Sweep out the garage and make sure summer gardening materials areorganized and easily accessible. Inspect the roof for any winter damage and make arrangements for repairs Clean up any debris in the yard to prepare for spring landscaping andgardening. Clean the windows inside and out, remove and wash storm windows and washscreens.The nitty gritty… Rotate winter to summer wardrobes in your closet. Get rid of any winterclothes that you didn’t wear. Clean your grill to get ready for summer barbeques. Clean out the dryer hose and vent of any lint that has built up to prevent fires. Clean out the refrigerator including the coils on the back. Pull the refrigeratoraway from the wall and clean underneath. Clean or replace air filters and have the cooling system checked.
