  5. 5. Food: Meat <ul><li>What is meat? </li></ul><ul><li>The flesh of animals and birds eaten as food. </li></ul><ul><li>Red meat : dark-coloured meat such </li></ul><ul><li> as beef. </li></ul><ul><li>White meat : meat that is pale in colour, for example chicken. </li></ul>
