  • 3. Along with the curriculum design, an implementation scheme has to be planned and designed which includes the following: 1. Human and physical resources (e.g. visual aids/instructional media facilities) 2. Schedule (Time frame/Gantt Chart) 3. Monitoring strategy (Activity/Performance Log)
  • 4. Levels of Decision-making Deciding on what subjects to include in the curriculum are results of state legislation and national policies. Some of decisions follow the thrust of the Department of Education (DepEd)/Commision on Higher Education (CHED) for public schools. For private schools, the teachers’ preferences becomes the basis for choosing the focus of the classroom instruction based on the vision and mission of the school.
  • 5. Decision-making Prior to its full implementation of the curriculum, the curriculum developer takes full consideration in determining the following areas of concern: 1.Cultural values 2.Characteristics of the learner 3.Teaching-learning principles 4.Pilot-testing 5.valuation
