4. Levels of Decision-making
Deciding
on what subjects to include in the
curriculum are results of state legislation
and national policies. Some of decisions
follow the thrust of the Department of
Education (DepEd)/Commision on Higher
Education (CHED) for public schools.
For
private
schools,
the
teachers’
preferences becomes the basis for choosing
the focus of the classroom instruction
based on the vision and mission of the
school.

Prior
to its full implementation of the
curriculum, the curriculum developer
takes full consideration in determining
the following areas of concern:
