  • NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2012 Graduate Schemes 2013–In this issue: Applications are open  Graduate Schemes  Potentialpark survey You can apply to the UK graduate schemes, if you are  Study in China Programme expecting to graduate in 2013 and also if you have  UK/India GradLink already graduated. But before that:  News and events  Consider carefully whether a graduate scheme is  theMADEproject right for you – is it in the sector you see yourself working; do you have the required experience and the determination to face the fierce competition; can you find a graduate scheme in your chosen area? Not all sectors offer graduate schemes but there are other alternatives that can still lead to a rewarding career. The Careers Consultants are happy to talk to you and help identify whether securing a place on a graduate scheme is suitable for you.  However, if you have decided on taking the Graduate Scheme route make sure you present an excellent application. Remember it is quality that counts, not quantity! Our careers resource ‘Destinations’ can help you begin your application. Prepare a draft and arrange to have it checked by our Consultants before sending it to employers. You can do this in person or via our ‘Advice by email’ service. And ....tidy up your online presence!
