  • 3. Data production• The human race will have created 1.8 zettabytes of data in 2011• In all human history to 2003 we created 5 exabytes of data (five billion gigabytes) and we now create that every DAY• 1 zettabyte = 1000 exabytes• 24 exabytes per year by 2020
