“as a student Geologist i have had many learning
opportunities at st. andrew Goldfields in areas such
as logging and splitting core, creating face maps,
making geological maps, geological interpretations,
interpreting cross sections of diamond drilling,
as well as muck and face sampling. i have been
given the opportunity to work with the data mine
and dh logger computer systems, both of which
are extraordinarily important research tools in the
geosciences field. i would not have found this
job without the help of the co-op office and my

a four-year honours co-operative program
leading to a bachelor of science in oenology and
viticulture is designed to meet the growing needs
of the grape, grape juice and wine industries of
cool climate regions. the aim of the program is
to provide a comprehensive scientific education
combined with both hands-on and industrial
experience in oenology and viticulture, along
with exposure to marketing, tourism and wine
appreciation. since “wine begins in the field and
ends in the glass”, our graduates will be trained

their applications. along with an introductory course
in linguistics, the department offers foundation
