  • 2. Project Objectives
    • Successfully migrate the R-Squared application from COLT to WMT Production Environment by August 15 th 2010, with minimal impact to site availability
    • Exit R-COLT facilities by September 30 th 2010
  • 3. Major Accomplishments
    • AR approved
    • CyrusOne data center contract signed
      • Will take possession on1 st March 2010
    • Equipment ordered
      • All Network, Storage, SUN equipment and ISP circuits ordered
      • 1 st wave of HP blades ordered
    • Recruitment
      • UK team recruiting completed
      • US team 2 of 7 heads recruited
    • Design
      • High Level Design documented
      • Detailed design review sessions held with operational and development teams
    • Inventory of servers with development and production owners identified
    • Testing
      • 5 FTE’s secured for testing from 1 st March
      • 1 st Draft of Test Plan reviewed
    • Produced 1 st draft architecture diagrams of LMN site
    • Engaged 2 vendors to get proposals for clean up of COLT and disposal of assets

    • Procurement
      • Order 2nd wave of servers. This will leverage new Sabre Enterprise Agreements with Core Trust for discounted rates – John McGurk (3rd March)

  • 18. Exit UK Facilities – Ken Lee
    • The systems need to be delivered to this stream in a state, whereby it is ready to be removed from the racks. That is, come the 1 st Sep, the external vendor will go into the site and pull out all of the systems. There will be no final testing or any shutdown performed by this stream.
    • The resale expectations (price) may not be met
    • List of assets to be shipped to Sabre is available by June.
