1. New technologies are now essential in my parents’ life.
In the case of my mum, she has been using them since about twenty years old.
She started using them to work and, little by little, they started to be a part of her
personal life (for example creating an email address, or buying a cell phone). Now, she
works with computers, so they’re really important in her everyday life.
In the case of my dad, he bought a cell phone when I was a child, and it was kind
of a rock (big and heavy). He had it lots of years, after he lost it and he had to buy a new
one. He has more difficulties with the use of technologies than my mum, but he tries to
understand. Here I’ll show an example:

He used to think that he would never be able to learn how to turn on a computer
and now he uses emails, Google, facebook and more, so I would say that new
technologies are a very important part in his life.
I think it is great that my parents use new technologies, because they make life
easier and it’s a great tool to communicate and work.
