  • 2. Community Service Learning Effective service-learning programs help students connect real-life experience to more theoretical classroom study and develop their individual values , sense of social responsibility and leadership skills. Canadian Association for Community Service-Learning
  • 3. Community Service Learning CSL is the accomplishment of tasks that meet genuine human needs in combination with conscious education al growth.
  • 4. Community Service Learning must:
    • meet real, defined community needs
    • be reciprocal in nature, benefiting both the community and the student service-learners
    • include a strong reflective element to maximize meaningful learning
