  1. 1. Phrase- "Ni Pa"-A different way of saying "no way" (mostlikely an extremely cut down version of "ni para nada,"which means not for anything). How it influences US culture- It influences US culture because people in the UStend to say that to.

  4. 4. Resources- Puerto Rico has limited resources because it is a island. There Resources are- clay, silica, sand, stone, copper, andgoldTourism- Tourists can enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing,sightseeing and shopping.

Exports/ Imports- The US is Puerto Ricos main trading partner Exports-chemicals, electronics, apparel, cannedtuna, and medical equipment Most imports come from the US, and somefrom Netherlands, Dominican Republic, and theUK. Imports-Chemicals, machinery andequipment, clothing, food, fish and petroleum How it influences culture in the US- People who visit Puerto Rico will probably wantto visit the US.

Unemployment- Has gone up from 16.9% to 14.9% since March tonow.How it Connects to the US- The US also has a higher birth rate than death rate.Puerto Rico has a improving economy, not like the US.
