9. Additional classroom items:
The goal of Advanced TV is to provide you with the
opportunity to build your DVD portfolio, with a
diverse group of projects NOT just funny stuff!
You will not pass independent study television
production if you do not complete all the projects
each marking period
This is your chance to be creative, think outside the
box, and work hard!
10. Group Project: Silent Film
What is a focus statement?
Every story must have a concise and
specific focus statement. If you can’t
explain your story in one sentence, then
it’s probably too broad and general.
A good focus statement will help guide
everything you shoot.
11. Group Project: Silent Film
Everyone pick a number out of the jar.
You are in a group based on your number.
Sit together as a group.
One representative from each group pick
focus statement out of a hat.
You have the remaining part of the block to
brainstorm ideas and create shot list.
