  7. 7. Organize a mandatory seminar for ASU students to learn about drinking responsiblyInform about Tempe DUI laws and statistics at the beginning of every school year
  8. 8. Increase the number of DUI checkpoints year-round
  9. 9. Provide a safe-ride taxi service for studentsSeveral universities currently use similar programs to get their students home safe and ALIVE

A safe-ride taxi program will allow students to pay adiscounted rate on a cab by showing their Sun Card The cost is covered at the time of the rideWhen a student is low on cash and in a bindthey can still get home without operating a vehicleThe discounted amount is billed to the students ASU account
