Participants will use the SHRM Learning System in conjunction with a cooperative, group/adult-learning environment.
This seminar features peer communication and in-depth discussions. Periodic progress checks and outside-the-classroom
assignments help reinforce classroom sessions.
Course Description
The SHRM Learning System Course is designed to provide you with an overview of key areas in human resource
management. Materials include six modules that correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and
associated knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). This course is offered as a
study intensive for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
certification examinations administered by HRCI www.hrci.org .
Besides being a powerful tool to assist you in preparing for the PHR or SPHR certification exams, the SHRM Learning
System Course also provides professional development for you and your HR Department. The course provides a
solid foundation for managing the HR challenges you face in today's demanding work environment; it supplies a

The fee for the course ($200 for Partner/Member or $400 for Public customers) is
non-refundable once the training series begins.
