Christopher Pappas commented on The ADDIE Instructional Design Model hm... This is like an academic class question. I believe that ADDIE model is based on simple step methodologies which provide and organized design procedure for the use of instructional materials that can facilitate the creation and maintenance of classes and trainings. With simply world I believe that you can easily remember and practical use the 5 steps than to remember 9 (Robert Gagne) or 10 (Dick and Carey). I think that differences and advantages have to do with the use of the Instructional Design Models by the Instructional Designers. Based on my previous knowledge for example, Robert Gagne’s Instructional Design Model is better for distance education courses than ADDIE or Dick and Carey. I hope that I helped you. 2 years ago
