    Discussion Boards - Presentation Transcript

    1. Discussion Boards
    2. Click Control Panel
    3. Click Discussion Board
    4. Click Course name
    5. Click Add Forum
    6. Add a Forum name and description
    7. Select Options
    8. Clicking “Grade Forum” and adding points in this box will create an entry in the Grade Center
    9. The Forum can be modified or managed at any time Click Manage
    10. Choose user roles and participation rights
    11. Click on thread
    12. Posts can be modified or removed by instructors
    13. All forums or threads can be included in the Grade Center by including a grade value during the initial thread creation (see slide 8).
    14. Enter the Discussion board from the Control Panel or the menu area
    15. Click course
    16. Click Grade Icon
    17. Click Grade
    18. 1. Use the drop 3. Add Grade 2. Posts down menu to and click appear in display selected Submit this area students
    19. Grade can be modified or click OK
    20. Grade Appears in record
    21. * From the Control Panel, Instructors can access the Grade Center to view or edit any grades. *Click on the student’s user name to send the student an email
