    • Marital Infidelity And How To Prevent It Carmen Gilfillan
      • Marital infidelity is one of the things women can sometimes find themselves worrying about
      • If this is you, there are steps you can take to help prevent it from occurring and putting a strain on your relationship
      • Here are some steps you can take to reassure you, and to ensure that your marriage stays on the right footing…
      • 1. Letting the minor stuff go:
      • Bigger issues need to be tackled, but your gut instinct may tell you to let the smaller stuff go…
      • … You know your marriage: when you have a gut instinct about whether to raise an issue you’re often right so trust your instincts and consider letting the minor issues go…
      • … But be mindful, however, that smaller issues that do need to be addressed can, if not dealt with, build up into major ones…
      • Decide therefore that, if the timing is not right, you'll either deal with the smaller issues at another time, or else put them out of your mind completely…
      • … This avoids you becoming bogged down with unresolved minor issues that build up and create tension in the marriage
      • 2. Appreciate your man:
      • Help prevent yourself and your hubby from drifting apart by showing appreciation for him as often as possible. This can be:
        • a loving kiss
        • an affectionate rub on the back
        • a loving text message
        • a loving glance…or any number of such tiny but immensely powerful gestures
      • 3. Accept his apology:
      • If ever he apologises accept the apology
      • Not doing so can be taken as an insult and can negatively affect the relationship…
      • … Accepting his apology means he’ll be more inclined to accept yours when it’s your turn to say ‘Sorry!’
