    • Sedona
      • There are many ways of coping with anxiety attacks. One of the most effective I’ve found is to use a method called ‘Sedona’
    • What Is Sedona?
      • Sedona is a method of letting go of inner turmoil and bringing your body back to equilibrium
    • What Is Sedona?
      • The method was created in 1952 by the physicist Lester Levenson and is still being used today
    • What Is Sedona?
      • Lester realised we are not tied to our emotions
      • We have the ability to let our emotions go…just like dropping a pen
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • When you understand what triggers your anxiety eg:
        • Driving in heavy traffic
        • Public speaking
        • Exam nerves…
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • … You can use the Sedona technique to let go of the feelings associated with the anxiety

      • The process is as follows …
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • Acknowledge the feeling fully
      • Then, ask yourself the question: Can I allow this feeling of anxiety?

      • The next question to ask yourself is: Can I welcome this feeling?
      • The next is: Can I release and let this feeling go?
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • Then ask yourself: Will I release this feeling?
      • The final question is: When will I release this feeling?

      • If you’re happy to release immediately, breathe in deeply, breathe out slowly, relax your body and feel the emotion slowly dissipate
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • If you can’t let go, there could be a reason for you hanging on to the feeling
    • Using Sedona To Manage Anxiety
      • This could be self preservation for instance
      • In this case come back to the emotion and release on it at a time when you’re ready
    • Practice
      • Practise this technique many times a day to become good at it
      • Release on all emotions regularly not just your anxiety
