  2. Why Should We Pray? Jesus set the example of prayer. Jesus taught the necessity of prayer. Jesus taught His disciples to pray. Scripture tells us to pray.
  3. How Do We Learn To Pray? By praying. By memorizing and meditating on Scripture. By praying with others. By reading about prayer.
  4. Principles Of Effective Prayer The Holy Spirit helps us pray. The Holy Spirit prays for us. God hears our heart more than our words when we pray.
  5. Principles Of Effective Prayer God always answers prayer.  Sometimes it’s no - I have a better plan.  Sometimes it’s slow – wait, not right now.  Sometimes it’s grow - I want to work in you because of...  Sometimes it’s so - just as you asked.  Sometimes it’s go - and I have so much more!
