    • What Are The Purposes of the Church? The Church’s ultimate purpose is to do the work of Christ in the world—it is Christ-likeness. The Church is to carry out Christ’s ministry.
    • The Purposes of Christian Life Assembly As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, we purpose to make disciples of Christ by: • Exalting God (Worship) • Encouraging Christians toward spiritual maturity. • Equipping Christians for ministry. • Evangelizing the world for Christ.
    • The Compass vs. The Map Why do we prioritize the compass over the map? • A stated purpose will motivate us. • A stated purpose will keep our priorities straight. • A stated purpose will develop our potential.
