MULTI-STAKEHOLDER COMMITMENT INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT COMMITMENT IN THE 2009-2014 NATIONAL MIDTERM DEVELOPMENT PLAN AIMED TO REDUCE POVERTY RATE FROM 18,2% (2002) TO 9 -10 % IN 2014 BARRU DISTRICT GOVERNMENT IN THE 2010- 2015 REGIONAL MIDTERM DEVELOPMENT PLAN AIMED TO REDUCE POVERTY UNDER 9% PADA IN 2015 AMONG THE 55 VILLAGES IN BARRU DISTRICT, 90% OF THEM ARE NEAR THE FOREST AREA 6
  7. 7.  TO INCREASE THE FULFILLMENT OF THE POOR PEOPLE’S BASIC NEEDS AND OTHER SOCIAL PROSPERITY MATTERS THROUGH PROGRAM SHARPENED AND FACILITATION THAT IS INTEGRATED TO THE CROSS SECTORAL IN ALL GOVERNMENT LEVEL WITH INSTITUONAL AND REGULATION SUPPORT AND UP- DATED DATA WHICH IS ACCESSIBLE WITH PRO POOR SUFFICIENT FUNDING 7

  13. 13. 1. Poverty reduction effort to the poor family with 4 phases: a. Increase the poor family income b. Human resource development c. Community institution development aimed to establish strong, dynamuc, productive and independent institution d. Capital funding aid 2. In order to fulfill mentioned phases, the implementation of community forest, village forest and people plant forest have to be conducted. 13
