      • The PRGA Program is the only CGIAR
      • Program with a full mandate to conduct
      • participatory research and gender analysis .
      • At present (2009) the program aims to
      • process and conceptualize the knowledge
      • developed over more than 12 years of
      • uninterrupted work.
      • PRGA Mandate in Gender Research:
      • Support CG Centers and partners
      • Emphasize and promote assessment tools,
      • Survey and analyze allocation of resources and ownership implications
      • Study technology adoption and critically assess gender disaggregated data
      PRGA Program Goals & Mandate
      • Program Strategy 2009-2012
      PRGA Gender Research & Participatory Work PPB/Seed Systems Climate Change Food and Nutrition
      • PRGA Program is supporting a Community of Practice together with
      • IFPRI and G&D Program for gender integration
      • A virtual Expert Consultation took place
      • in April 2009 to provide input to the
      • CGIAR by strengthening the capacity
      • to conduct gender research and training
      • The final report is to be submitted to
      • donors and CG Change Management
      • Team by June 2009.
