$ilk: How long have you been in the Game?
DT:My beginnings in the biz started in 1986 where I worked for 93fM WZAK in
Cleveland, Ohio where I was a swingman and weekend jock. As the years rolled on I was
the driving force for hip –hop in the city breaking many records from Run D.M.C. to
Tupac. At a co-workers party I met Gerald Levert and he said he would hook me up and
he did, thus therefore Men at Large. So roughly 23 years and counting.
$ilk:Who are your Inspirations?
DT: My inspiration would have to be the obvious Gerald and Eddie Levert. Also I would
say Gospel greats John P. Kee, and James Moore, as well as R and B legends Michael
Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Charlie Wilson. My present inspiration would have to be Joe
Thomas and myself.
$ilk: What was the 1st song?
DT: Our first song was released on the self titled Men At Large that song went #1 and was
called “Use Me”
$ilk: Who was your Crew Then/Now?
DT: My crew then was the Big Draws Posse now its just me and my family most of the guys
from then didn’t last through the low years.
$ilk: How many Songs have you Released? How Many Cd's?
DT: As of now, I have released 5 cds
1992 “Men At Large”
1994 “One Size Fits All”
1999 “Love Struggle And Progress”
2007 “Back On Top”
2009 “Blaq Pavarotti” (solo)
$ilk: Are you Single ( Plug Hahaha)
DT: I’m very much married and have been for 6 years as of July 5th, 2009
$ilk: What was the reason for your Hiatus?
DT: There was no hiatus we have been working just not on the mass radar.

$ilk: What are you doing now?
DT: I just released my first solo Cd “Blaq Pavarotti”, I also just finished 2 movies
‘5 Days In The A”, and “Love’s Triangle”. I’m about to start filming my 3rd movie in
August called “Baby J” and “Tune Up”.
$ilk: Tell me about the New Name and Cd?
DT: The new cd is called “Blaq Pavarotti” and is available On-Line @:

$ilk: Tell me about the Tours and Videos?
The video is coming and I have been touring since March and still taking dates for my solo
project, Men At Large, and The Original Men At Large reuniting myself and Jason
Champion together for the first time in 13 years…
