INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
CA Spectrum ® Infrastructure Manager and CA eHealth ® Performance Manager maximize IT value through better quality service and lowered risk of business disruption, and minimize costs through fewer tools required to manage end-to-end infrastructure. Enterprises, government agencies and service providers gain integrated availability and performance management for both physical and virtual systems, as well as networks, unified communications systems, and databases.
CA Workload Automation r11.1 (formerly CA dSeries Workload Automation) maximizes IT value through improved service quality and minimizes costs of service delivery. Through centralized cross platform management of enterprise workloads across all applications, organizations can better support real-time, dynamic business events. The new version improves service delivery to end customers through automation of workload processing as business events occur.
CA Service Catalog cuts through the complexity of IT, presenting business executives and end users with an interface for ordering services described in business terms that they understand while supporting the service request by back-end workflows to orchestrate delivery of ordered services, track service consumption, account for costs and chargebacks, and ensure contracted service levels. In the CA Service Catalog r12 home page pictured here, users can easily request available services such as those listed under Featured Services (in the upper right). Additional service offerings are categorized and available in the Web store as shown in the list of menu items on the left. The middle grid displays the status of recent requests.
CA Service Desk Manager r12.1 will help mitigate the risk of service disruptions and provide a balance between central governance and local control by providing service-level visibility and risk analysis across multiple domain-specific change tools as part of a Federated Change Management strategy. These drill-down views show automatic Change Collision Detection. alerting administrators when multiple changes are scheduled for a Configuration Item on the same day.
CA IT Client Manager helps customers maximize the value of their IT asset investments by identifying and optimizing underutilized servers and desktops, reducing unnecessary asset purchases, and driving down the administrative costs needed to maintain, migrate and support enterprise client devices. It does this by providing a complete, unified management solution designed to automate routine tasks such as asset discovery and inventory, software distribution, remote desktop control, patch administration and desktop migration, while delivering advanced asset analytics for improved business decisions. CA IT Client Manager r12 provides expanded asset inventory capabilities and the previously announced Federal Desktop Core Configuration Scanner to help comply with federal desktop configuration requirements.
Demand empowers organizations by delivering visibility over the enterprise to drive efficient prioritization of projects, people and resources. To get started quickly, CA now offers CA Clarity PPM On Demand Essentials, a low-risk solution that combines the most common PPM functions with built-in end user training and the industry’s first 5-day fixed-price implementation program. CA has also introduced the first PPM on-demand offerings tailored specifically for IT Governance, New Product Development and U.S. Federal compliance.
CA Wily Application Performance Management maximizes IT value through improved customer experience and minimizes costs by reducing the downtime of mission critical composite applications. The new version shows real-time health of an application and how customer service quality is impacting the business bottom line. Extension of transaction visibility across the full range of legacy and SOA environments enables comprehensive problem avoidance, accelerated triage and problem resolution, and increased operational efficiency.
CA Enterprise Log Manager is a new product developed to collect, manage and archive the log data from various IT systems and security devices including firewalls, operating systems, applications, and more. Its capabilities, features and its delivery method streamline Security Information Management to provide rapid value to customers while delivering aggregated reports that help verify compliance and support security investigations. CA Enterprise Log Manager provides predefined and customizable log management report templates mapped to common security auditing guidelines and compliance regulations, such as PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, FISMA, and more, that can be emailed and run on schedule or on demand.
CA DLP is part of CA’s focus to help customers secure data, control access to IT resources, and facilitate compliance with various information security regulations. This CA DLP drill down dashboard provides an executive overview and snapshot of information to help verify compliance.
CA Role & Compliance Manager helps customers more efficiently manage the lifecycle of an identity within an organization from identity creation to removal from the system. It helps address compliance concerns caused by orphan accounts and invalid entitlements, while offering increased flexibility for integration with external systems. The CA Role & Compliance Manager centralized web interface pictured here allows managers to view, validate and certify the accuracy of their employees’ entitlements or access rights.
The CA ARCserve ® Backup Dashboard provides a graphical display of historical and recent activity in the backup infrastructure, providing information on physical and virtual backups, data deduplication, node failures, the location of backed up data, whether data is encrypted and ready for disaster recovery, and about volume, disk usage, memory, CPU, NIC, SCSI and fiber cards on each of the production servers.
