Members of the newly formed, Justice and Peace group put their baking skills to the test in aid of CAFOD. The group then used all their marketing talents to sell the cakes to fellow pupils and members of staff, in order to raise some valuable funds for the work of CAFOD in the developing world.

  • 9. Blessed Edward Jones Catholic High School, Rhyl
Year 11 pupils had a visit from Fr Mauricio Garcia, the director of CINEP, a Colombian organisation supported by CAFOD. The students were so moved hearing about the lives of young people in Colombia, who are struggling in the face of long-term conflict and poverty, that they signed a Welsh flag with messages of solidarity.
