  • 1. How to Become the Ultimate Legend Trivia Game
  • 2. What was our game?
    • 2-4 players
    • 3. Topic based questions e.g Film.
    • 4. Answer questions to make your way along the board.
    • 5. Person to reach the end first wins.
  • 6. Game Mechanics
    • The board acts as a points counter. The more questions you have answered correctly, the further along the board you will be.
    • 7. You only answer questions based on your topic (except for the “Random” questions)
    • 8. You have to answer a question correct to move along. Don't, and you're stuck.
  • 9. Things that worked...
    • The pace of the game wasn't too fast or too slow.
    • 10. Was educational...kind of
    • 11. The topics to choose from, sport, video games, film and music, generally suited everybody.
  • 12. Things that didn't work...
    • Question difficulty e.g “Where was the film “Scarface set?” . Some thought this was tough, others easy.
    • 13. Number of questions. We just didn't have enough and sometimes they would get repeated.
    • 14. Somebody would get a topic they didn't know anything about.
  • 15. Things we would change...
    • A lot more questions.
    • 16. More topics to choose from.
    • 17. If we were to start from scratch we wouldn't do a trivia based game.
  • 18. What we learned...
    • Trivia games are a lot harder to make than you think.
    • 19. Some people just don't like trivia games.
    • 20. 50 squares on a board game isn't that much.
    • 21. Communication is key.
