  4. 4. LATISM Each day is an opportunity to be creative, exercise experience and learn something new. I strive to improve myself, my projects and my relationships along the way. And one day, I found LATISM. About LATISM: A pioneering social media organization, Latinos in Tech, Innovation and Social Media (LATISM) has been hailed as the most influential online movement in the new multicultural Web. LATISM, the largest organization for Latinos engaged in social media, is a 501(c) 4 nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing the social, civic and economic status of the Latino community. LATISM also serves corporate brands, NGOs and government entities, with a broad range of services including research, event sponsorships, and leadership training. One of the most popular hashtags on Twitter, the #LATISM hashtag captures more than 10 million impressions daily and enjoys the largest Latino network on Facebook.

THE WRITE WAY – SEO The Meta-Story   There has to be a story – start writing first   Headings – words used in the heading of your content   Title tag– Page/post title as it shows up in the top of your browser 60-70 characters   Meta-description – 140 characters   Keywords meta tags – words or terms you want to pull up your site   Links – network online with quality sites   Permalink – Complete and exact URL   300 words per post with Formatting (emphasize key words by bolding etc.) http://bsofly.com/

GETTING STARTED Technical / Organizational   Create a gmail account   Create Excel Sheet with passwords   Create Online Editorial Calendar and 30-day   Create your Social Media Accounts/Personal Profiles   Give your company image a descriptive label, such as YourOrganizationName.jpg. It helps with SEO   Profile image, use the same one on all social media platforms to promote consistency   Customize your backgrounds, avatars, and profile images so that they reflect your brand
