Organic Brands Of Coffee

Looking for a good cup of coffee? Interested in avoiding the 150 or more impurities often found in regular coffee? Look for organic brands of coffee. Healthy organic coffee is grown under strict adherence to sustainable practices. Organic brands of coffee are certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) or one of their designees. Here at Buy Organic Coffee we are partial to Panama mountain grown organic coffee and a variety of Colombian organic coffee brands. What follows is our list of favorite organic brands of coffee.
Coffee from Panama
Coffee in Panama is grown along the sides of the Cordillera Central, the mountainous spine of the country. Around towns like Boquete in Chiriquí Province coffee grows in rich volcanic soil and benefits from a frequent cloud cover and rain. The mountainous terrain allows for good drainage, so important to coffee plants. On steep slopes coffee plants are interspersed with plantain trees. This banana-like fruit provides a second harvest for the farmer and partial shade for coffee plants. Many of the organic growers in this region boast Bio Latina organic coffee certification. Bio Latina is an agency headquartered in Lima, Peru. It certifies organic crops on behalf of the USDA, Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, the European Union, and many other government agencies and well known coffee brands. What follows is a brief list of organic brands of coffee from Panama. If you would like help finding these brands feel free to contact us at Buy Organic Coffee.
