Making a business case for an internal social network can be a challenge. This presentation is for people working in internal communications who want to convince their senior executives that an enterprise social network is not about being social - it's about making your organisation more responsive to a changing business environment (by helping employees collaborate and communicate more effectively and facilitating innovation).

In the end it's about making your organisation more productive.

So don't do the classic internal comms mistake and sell it as a new communication channel. An enterprise social network is so much more than a communication channel - it's a new way of working.

  • Since binary options are traded on the conventional financial assets most of us know about and hear about on the business news on TV, you need to identify how to trade them using the various binary option trade types. I have personally used ANDYLANK COM System before. A friend of mine he is also an expert trader. He suggested me Andy Lank System.

Why invest in an Enterprise Social Network? (Internal communications edition)

  1. Why invest in a social enterprise network? Please enlighten me.
  2. First of all, an internal social network is not about being social
  3. It's about making the organisation more responsive To a constantly changing world (and making a profit)
  4. The world is getting too fast and complex for rigid processes and hierarchies...
  5. Very Hierarchical Organisation I don't know what's really going on. I block information flows. I'm not allowed to use my brain
  6. For example. Does insight From the frontline reach The top (or vice versa)? We must respond to Customer needs
  7. How much time is wasted on searching for information internally?
  8. Is information locked up in Mailboxes and hard drives?
  9. In a network people find the right information at the right time for them and without unnecessary silos and hierarchies innovation can flourish!
  10. This is why a network is faster to respond to changes. “it's coming” ”Bring it on” “We're prepared”
  11. What are your current threats or opportunities? Can you respond to these with Business As Usual?
  12. Kodak thought so. “You have to grab onto the new Communication and collaboration systems or you will simply end up as road kill.” Geoffrey Moore, Managing Director, TGC Advisors
  13. Internal communications can play a key role in introducing an enterprise social network & helping an organisation make the most of it.
  14. Internal communications. Networked enterprise Has access to information that can be used to attract people to the network Can become Chief Community Manager (important role in a network) Knows a lot of people across the organisation (important when recruiting pilot projects & internal change makers
  15. Introducing an internal social network is a major change management initiative and the resources allocated to it should reflect this.
  16. n Introducing an internal social network is a major change initiative and the resources allocated to it should reflect this.
  17. I heard this social media thing is somehow official. I don't see the CEO using it. Looks like a marketing department thing to me. Don't let this happen to your organisation. I'm working on the network during my Lunch breaks. Internal Communications Officer and part-time internal social network champio Growing your enterprise social network will take time and effort. But the rewards are worth it.
