Haptic Technology• This is the science of applying tactile (touch) sensation to human reaction with computers.• This involves some form of input device which responds to human touch and also receives information from the computer in the form of a tactile sensation on some part of the body.
Haptic Glove• An example of this is being used in the medical industry. A new virtual reality glove is being developed which records the movements and touch sensations of a doctors hand in surgery.• In the future this technology may be used to control a robotic hand in a remote location.
