  • 2. I love when I have those aha recycle moments, when I see a use forsomething I’m about to discard. Such was the case recently with this emptytissue box.A AHA MOMENT
  • 3. What I ended up with was an “envelope” to present either money or a giftcard in and…GIFT CARD/MONEY HOLDER

  • 5. 1. Gently pull the sides of the tissue box apart so that the box is flat.SET-BY-STEP GUIDE
  • 6. 2. Turn the flat box over so the tissue opening is facing down and cut off thetwo rectangular flaps.STEP 2
  • 7. 3. Turn the flat tissue box over and cut on the crease to the right of the tissueopening.STEP 3
  • 8. 4. Turn the piece over so that the tissue opening is facing down and tapedown the flaps.STEP 4
  • 9. 5. Turn it over and either insert a bill or a gift card. You can then tape theopening on the right.STEP 5
  • 10. 6. You will use the other side panel to make the gift tags. Fold the panellengthwise.STEP 6
  • 11. 7. Cut along the fold, punch a hole in the top and attach a ribbon. You havetwo gift tags.STEP 7
  • 12. At Christmas, I filled empty tissue boxes with dollar bills. I used painterstape to connect them end to end, folded accordion style and stuffed them intothe box. The look on the faces of my nieces and nephews as they pulled thelong bill chain out of the box was priceless. I found that idea on Pinterest.PINTEREST INSPIRATION
