issues on VNX arrays. Requires knowledge to investigate backend storage issues via navicli and naviseccli
commands.
● Provide technical expertise with debugging issues with implementations of NS Series or VNX software
features once a box is successfully installed. Features include, but not limited to, IP replication, NFS and
NDMP.
● Skillful in file and block side performance issues and using various tools to isolate and resolve performance
issues.

● Responsible for support of EMC and third party resources in complex technology solutions. Issues such as
data unavailable, implementation of new environments. This position entails knowledge of host to switch to
Symmetrix and VNX storage arrays. Knowledge gained of AIX, HP, Windows and Solaris hosts as they connect
to various models and firmware revisions of Brocade and Cisco switches.
● Additional life-cycle support of complex systems such as EDM backup software, Celerra NAS software and
hardware, as well as IP4700 product lines. Skills required in roles include troubleshooting networking and UNIX
system administration and support of NFS and CIFS
● With the sense of urgency required assisted customers, Sales Engineers and EMC Customer Service
resources in a fast paced environment troubleshooting problems, such as customer down situations, as well as
implementation of component configuration within the products.

● Responsible for maintaining lab equipment for hardware and software reliability. Re-organized to eliminate
duplication of assets.
● Created shell script to capture Celerra NAS configuration for arrays. Presented shell script to EMC
Engineering as a data collection method for customer array. Received reward and recognition from EMC
Engineering for the innovative idea.
