Russ goes to Kelvin Road School

A short story about Russ starting at his new school, Kelvin Road School.

This is Russ. He is new to Kelvin Road School. Russ likes going to Kelvin RoadSchool because it is fun and he likes the children there. This is a story aboutthe things all new pupils need to know in his first week in the SeniorSyndicate at Kelvin Road School.If you know all of these things, you will have no problems at all!

At Kelvin Road School we showour pride by wearing ouruniform. Russ is wearing hisschool jersey. They are reallyexpensive so put your name init Russ !

If you are new to our schoolthere are heaps of toilets touse. The best ones for seniorsare by the hall or by Room 8.You can ask someone if you arelost.

This is the yellow line to the Seniors and the Juniors. We are not allowed toplay together because we want to keep the Juniors safe . Russ is a Senior sohe stays on this side of the line.

When you are late to schoolyou have to go to the officeand tell the office lady so yourteacher knows you are atschool.

One of our school promises is to be proud of Kelvin Road School . Russ ispicking up the rubbsh to go to the blue bin which shows he is proud of ourschool.

Russ needs a drink. KelvinRoad Senior School has 7drinking fountains to drinkfrom.

Russ is have his lunch because he is hungry . Lunchtime is from 12:10 to 1:00.At Kelvin Road School you can order yourlunch or morning tea you lunch. If youforget to bring one, there are sparelunches.

Russ is not allowed on top of the playground because he might fall off. He hasto swing underneath it only .

This the car park. Russ is not allowed in thecar park because it is not safe .

Russ come get the ball to play and toplay soccer and kick with it. The PEshed is open every lunch time to getballs.

If you kick the ball on the roof just leave it there and Mr Rush will get it down.DO NOT CLIMB ON THE ROOF!

Russ can go on the computerwhen he has finished his work.He can also use the computerto do his work.Kelvin Road School is lucky tohave a lot of computers.

When you are really naughty you have to go to McMillan. He will growl you and ring up your parents .If you are a little bit naughty in class yougo to the thinking spot. In the thinkingspot you fill out the thinking sheet thatthe teacher gives you .

Me and Russ are for ever talking together because we are best friends forever . The best thing about being in the Seniors at Kelvin Road School ismaking friends.
