    • The core faculty includes individuals meeting the following selected criteria:
    • Doctorate in physical therapy (DPT, PhD, DSc)
    • Board certification by the American Board of PT Specialties (PhD faculty excluded)
    • Active collaboration in ongoing clinical research
    • Regular attendance and presentations at scientific meetings
    • Regular clinical practice hours
    • Membership in the APTA and active involvement in professional service
    • Primary faculty will likely have completed fellowship training, hold at least one academic appointment, and have been awarded peer-reviewed grant funding.

    • The Residency Program:
    • 18 month plan with 4 primary components:
    • EIM Residency Core Didactics
      • 4 core courses delivered in 6 to 8 week educational blocks
        • These include a live onsite 15 hour weekend intensive component
    • Topics in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
      • Online component consisting of prepared formal coursework as well as live and recorded interactive sessions
    • Clinical Practicum
      • Mentored practice by an EIM credentialed clinical mentor
    • Capstone Course: OCS Preparation
      • Available upon completion of all other didactic coursework

    • The majority of the program’s didactic content is delivered via internet based learning platforms:
