  • Once I had opened Photoshop I created my title for the contents page. Likethe front cover I added a drop shadow, bevel and emboss, I did this tokeep a link between the front cover and the contents page.
  • I then started to add my list of contents, I wanted to use boxes on mycontents page because I thought they worked well on my front cover andthis would keep a link between the two pages but also I thought this wentwell with the genre of the magazine.
  • I then carried on adding my list of contents.
  • I then added page numbers to the left of the list of contents in a darker redthan everything else in the page I did this so that it didn’t blend in, I wantedthe page numbers to stand out as that is what people look for on acontents page.
  • After creating the list of contents I then decided to add some images, I did this tobreak up the page but I also wanted to add a visual contents so the reader canget an idea of what will be in this issue.
  • I then added a subscribe advert, after looking at other examples ofmagazines I found that a lot of magazines put a subscribe advert on theircontents page to encourage the reader to save their money.
