2. Your task
Over the course of this lesson, watch and make notes from the
BBC Horizon Documentary, “The Deepwater Disaster”. Your
notes must cover information on the following points:
• Background info on the disaster – when, where, how
much, how long etc. Include facts and figures here, specifics.
• Different areas of the environment affected – land, sea, air
• Short and long term effects – what happened in the
immediate aftermath and what the longer term effects might
be
Your follow up task next lesson will be to write a report on the
environmental impacts of the Deepwater Horizon disaster
