  5. 5. 14 After the people saw the sign Jesus performed,they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who isto come into the world.” 15 Jesus, knowing that theyintended to come and make him king by force,withdrew again to a mountain by himself. John 6: 14 - 15
  6. 6. 25 When they found him on the other side of thelake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you gethere?”26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you arelooking for me, not because you saw the signs Iperformed but because you ate the loaves and hadyour fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but forfood that endures to eternal life, which the Son ofMan will give you. On him God the Father has placedhis seal of approval.” John 6: 25 - 27
  7. 7. 28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do theworks God requires?”29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: tobelieve in the one he has sent.”30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you givethat we may see it and believe you? What will youdo? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in thewilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread fromheaven to eat.’” John 6: 28 - 31
  8. 8. 32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is notMoses who has given you the bread from heaven,but it is my Father who gives you the true bread fromheaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread thatcomes down from heaven and gives life to theworld.”34 “Sir,” they said, “from now on give us this bread.” John 6: 32 - 34
