The Medal of Honor is United States of Americas highest militaryhonor, awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.On July 25,1963 Congress established a set of guidelines under which the Medal of Honor could be awarded: While engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States; While engaged in military operations involving conf lict with an opposing foreign force; or,While serving with friendly forces engaged in armed conf lict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party. The Bill was passed and signed December 21 st by President Lincoln
  3. 3.  Fought in the Indian war. Private U.S Army Wichita River ,Texas October 5th 1870 Gallantry during the pursuit and fight with Indians.
  4. 4.  War with Spain Private U.S Army Santiago de cube July 1st 1898 Ran to save someone from the front lines.
  5. 5.  Private WW1 U.S Marine corps Blanc Mont. Ridge, France October 3 1918 Ran through our own barrage 100 yards and ambushed the enemy.
