30 Reasons People UnFollow you on Twitter By Live-your-love.com

1. You are a Twitter egg. Haven't changed the default image.

2. You are a hot chick in a bikini. When you really are not one.

3. You are a tattooed body builder in swimming shorts. When you really are not one.

4. You are a company. And tweet only about that and nothing else.

5. You are a link building or a SEO service. Just not into you that much, sorry.

6. You are in a niche they have no interest in. Hair extensions, exterminator, etc.

7. You have no bio. How will they know who you are?

8. You have a bio but it sucks.

9. Your bio is illiterate. Work on it, presentation is very important!

10. Your bio only says you are a mom/wife/husband. If you are trying to do business, this is not important to your prospects!

11. Your bio has a link to your husband/wife/best friend on Twitter. People don't care who are you married to.

12. Your bio says you follow back. This gives a picture of a desperate tweepi.

13. You started following cause they used a keyword in a tweet. Trigger words “blog post”, “e-book”, “iPad”. Clearly you are not on Twitter to connect with people.

14. You tweet in a language they don’t know. How would they ever see what are you tweeting about?

15. You have no @ mentions in your stream. No talk – no follow.

16. You never retweet other people’s tweets. No one likes selfish people.

17. You never thank others for retweeting your tweets.

18. You tweet only links.

19. You are rude to others on Twitter.

20. You spam! You send unrelated links in a tweet where you @ mention other users.

21. You @ mention too many people in a spammy tweet.

22. You tweet the same link to 50 people in 5 minutes. Spam again!

23. You are a brand new user (less than 5 tweets). How do they know you are not a bot?

24. You have less than 10 tweets and all are affiliate links.

25. You tweet about yourself too much.

26. You are an expert or a guru. Let others give you those “titles”. Be modest.

27. You are a CEO of something. Running a blog does not make you a CEO :)

28. You follow 10 people and have 20.000 followers. Unless you are a celebrity, this doesn't work!

29. You are following and unfollowing a user 3rd time in the last 10 days. You trying to get a follow back? This annoys people!

30. You didn’t introduce yourself. You don't have to do this. But is is a nice thing to tell someone why are you following them. They will appreciate the fact that you are not a bot!
