1. Bradley C. Anderson, (Brad) Project Manager, Enterprise Content Management Specialist
 2. Project Management Philosophy

I am a successful, mature, Project Management professional with a wide variety of skills. In today’s professional environment one has to be flexible enough to adjust to new and changing styles of management at a moment’s notice. The world of technology changes quickly and a successful manager must be able to move with those changes. Clients’ needs change, internal corporate needs change. A project manager who cannot adjust to those changes will find himself quickly left behind, along with his company’s success.

 3.

Part of any successful project implementation is not only gathering the requirements from both the technical and business stakeholders in a project, but also being able to create the necessary documentation of project issues and exceptions, as well as prepare system documentation and be able to train users how to use the new system.

I have trained users at all levels of a company, from the clerical staff to the executive staff. Many of those had little or no computer experience.

 4.

It’s also important to be able to understand the users’ backgrounds, their workflow and how a new system will affect them, both physically in their work tasks, as well as emotionally in dealing with the challenges and changes of a new system. Having been on both sides of this challenge I have a strong ability to relate to the users and their feelings.

 5.

My extensive banking background, together with my project management work has given me a strong ability to understand general business processes and procedures in not only banking, but other industries as well, including City & County Governments, Insurance, Financial Services, Utilities, Manufacturing, just to name a few.

 6.

In addition to overseeing projects, I’ve been responsible for the complete implementation of a major document imaging initiative. It’s certainly a fair question for employers to ask how a prospective employee is handling the situation. Fortunately, we had an emergency fund to get our family through for a limited time. In the interim period, I am working hard to find the right job. After spending time each day in that effort, I am doing volunteer work as a dog trainer at Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter 5-7 days a week. I work training the dogs, assisting newer volunteers, helping potential adopters meet and select dogs and handling dog-to-dog meetings. I enjoy my work with dogs and feel blessed to have had so much time to be involved with this work between jobs.
