Different Types Of Mustangs Different Types Of Mustangs Presentation Transcript

  • By: Kyle Carter
    • Jack Roush was the creator and founder of the first roush mustangs in the 90 models. He also uses his racing parts for the factory car. All he does is takes regular Mustang GT’s and applies the roush package to them. You can get 3 different stages. There are Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3. All have the same looks, but as you get higher more horsepower and torque is added.
    • Steve Saleen was the founder and creator of the Saleen mustang. His production though compared to Jack Roush is much larger. They both started customizing mustangs around the same time. But Steve Saleen makes more money off of his mustangs because of the styles and looks. Also the Saleen packs more of a punch under the hood of the car. But opinions change between the Roush and Saleen.
    • Carroll Shelby is the creator and master of all mustangs. He began his customizing in the 1960’s by customizing the body and giving the famous ford engine today the 428 Cobra Jet. All of his cars from 1965 until 1973 are average worth around $50,000- 1,000,000,000. When it comes to Shelby Mustangs it means comes a long line of class, antique, American muscle, tradition, and fear. These machines that Shelby had been created had a huge impact on America Automotive production. Even today 8 out of 10 people always want a Shelby Mustang to be sitting in there driveway.
    • The original ford mustangs are just factory cars with V6 or a V8 known as “GT”. In the past Ford did come out with a couple custom mustangs. For example: Mach 1, Boss 302, Boss 351,Boss 429, and California Edition. Ford doesn’t make anymore of them models. Only models that are made again now are the Boss 302, but Steve Saleen based it on a race car driver in the 70’s and the Mach 1 was produced in 2004 and stopped the production right then.
