  • we’re in a whole new paradigm and business models are changing overnight in every industry.think about it, newspaper advertising and classifieds were a multi billion dollar industry and craigslist came along and tidied that up into one profitable 100 million company. the changes here will be just as profound. Hollywood isn’t afraid of piracy as much as they are Charley\n
  • Most seen video. But obviously, a 1 minute long “America’s Most Funny Video” doesn’t compare to indie and online filmmaking. But, we should note, they are making money from this. Over 100K GBP\n
  • So how do we get paid\n
  • The first and easiest if connecting with fans and raising funds. As seen in Kickstarter. here’s most successful film yet\n
  • Eve Hollywood Folks like Paul Schrader of Taxi Driver (writer), Affliction. BEE of American Psycho\n
  • \n
  • Design most successful, but just wait til Ashton Kutcher does this\n
  • Key to this is building your fan base.\n
  • Filmmakers are doing it on their own. Iron Sky example. Raised x in CF and X in traditional\n
  • This was before the movie even premiered. Now at: 164\n
  • Can show demand to distributors\n
  • new generation - that’s one route, but what’s more interesting is what’s happening with the new generation\n
