  • 3. Multimedia content should be interactive and controlled by the learner.
  • 4. Multimedia content should always be aligned to learning objectives. Never use technology simply for the sake of using technology.
  • 5. Multimedia content should use both auditory and visual channels to present information.
  • 6. Make sure that the multimedia content you areincluding is as accessible as possible.For example, if you include a video or audioclip, make sure to include captioning and/or awritten transcript.
  • 7. How do we apply this to real life?Learners should be required to apply new information acquired by multimedia to real world situations.
  • 8. Learners should be giventhe opportunity to use/createmultimedia in the process of constructing knowledge.
