  • 4. What the project consist of:
    The project consist of building, team communication skill, leadership skill.
    Learning how mechanical elevator operates and function.
    Learning how to program the PLC system.
    Learn how to work with relays.
  • 5. What an elevator does?
    The function of the elevator lift is to be able to lift object between floor and delivering loads to different area of a building.
  • 6. Workings of the elevator lift
    We got our elevator working with a simple setup. Using a pulley system we raised and lower the lift with counter weight.
    We used a simple 9v dc motor to make the pulley system function.
    Then we used two 120-240 VAC relays to make the pulley raise and lower the lift.
    We used 1 PLC control system.
    1 pair of magnets for a counter weight.
