FRONTRUNNER PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY Autumn 2012 and Spring 2013 Terms Three placements of 8 hours/week each, term time onlyTESTA project frontrunner FR1213030The placement offers the opportunity to work on a Higher Education Academy(HEA) Change Programme on assessment and feedback (Transforming theExperience of Students through Assessment - TESTA) and provide student inputto the project. The core project team is led by the Dean of Science andEngineering with other members of staff from the across the Faculty. TheFrontrunners will be hosted in the School of Health and Human Sciences andline-managed by the Dean of Science and Engineering (Pevalin) and/or theAssociate Dean (Robinson).Although the project is being run from the Science and Engineering Faculty, wewelcome applications from students across the whole university.Application deadline 13th June.https://www.essex.ac.uk/frontrunners/placements/available_placements.aspxMain duties of the frontrunners will be: Working with academic and administrative staff to facilitate data collection on assessment and feedback. Gather information and data from students following the TESTA methodology (questionnaires and focus groups) and guided by the core project team. Working together with the core project team and the other Frontrunners in the team to assess and analyse the data following the TESTA methodology and guided by the core team. Drafting reports for consideration by the core project team and course staff. Working with the core project team to evaluate the courses assessment and feedback in conjunction with the course staff.
