    1. Lean Certification Programs Purpose: To develop skilled Kaizen facilitator and Lean program leaders
      • Learning objectives:
        • A thorough knowledge of the Lean strategy
        • Transfer of critical Lean skills
        • Hands-on experience with Lean Kaizen events
        • Practical Lean management skills via mentoring and shadowing with TBM Lean master
        • Ability to deliver 1-day Lean training as lead in to Kaizen events
    2. Lean Certification – Kaizen Leader Each participant is assigned a TBM Lean Mentor to guide them through the certification process. Homework, quizzes, a Kaizen report-out and a Final Exam are all part of the Certification program. n/a Mentor, Homework, Quizzes, Kaizen Event report-out and Final Exam This Train the Trainer workshop is designed to teach participants how to deliver a 1-day Lean training that is an essential component of facilitating a Kaizen event. Participants are provided all the training materials necessary to get those involved or impacted by Kaizen events with enough understanding of Lean principles to be part of the process. 4 days Kaizen Breakthrough Train the Trainer This event is held at a TBM client site and is a hands-on activity that involves all participants in a real Kaizen event. Team members are assigned roles; the event is planned, executed and evaluated. Participants are divided into teams that are led by a TBM Lean Master. 5 days Kaizen Breakthrough Experience This 5 day workshop begins where the online training ends. Lean concepts covered include: Lean Enterprise, Factory Simulations, 7 Wastes, Policy Deployment, Value Chain Mapping, Setup Reduction, Kanban, Lean Value Chain, Measurement Systems Analysis, Managing Daily Improvements, Total Productive Maintenance, Implementing Non-Shop floor Events, Progressive 5S and Standard Work, Lean Certification Criteria 5 days Lean Tool Kit Workshop 12 online training modules covering: Introduction to Lean, 7 Wastes, Takt, Flow, Pull Systems, Jidoka, Production Smoothing, Standard Work, Standard Operations, 5S, Visual Workplace, Value Chain Mapping, LeanSigma Implementation, Roles in a Lean Deployment and final exam n/a Essential Lean Learning – Online training and Exam Description Number of Days Workshop or Event Name
    3. Lean Certification – Lean Program Leader Each participant is assigned a TBM Lean Mentor to guide them through the certification process. Homework, quizzes, a Shadow week report-out and a Final Exam are all part of the Certification program. n/a Mentor, Homework, Quizzes, Kaizen Event report-out and Final Exam Each participant is scheduled to “shadow” a TBM Lean Master while he or she is leading or facilitating Lean activities at a TBM client site. Time is set aside after the work day to mentor the Lean Certification participant to address questions that arose during the day and to coach the student in areas they lack experience. 5 days Lean Master Shadowing This 5 day workshop is held at a TBM client site and is a hands-on activity that transfers the skills and knowledge to participants to facilitate continuous improvement activities. This training focuses on those skills that are critical for front line supervisors and managers that are key to sustaining a Lean deployment. 5 days Managing Daily Improvement Training Participants learn the strategies, tools and skills required to set up and administer effective Lean Programs. How to establish effective program metrics and governance systems. Also how to build and maintain the momentum of your Lean deployment through culture change activities and exercises. 4-days Kaizen Promotion Office Workshop Description Number of Days Workshop or Event Name
