  • 1. FINAL MAJORPROJECTPHOTOGRAPHEDITSBY CHARLOTTE BRACKEN
  • 2. ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH
  • 3. For the start of this photograph that I have taken, Ithought about the composition and I know there wasstuff within the shot I did not need so I decided tocrop the image and select a certain area which Ithought was more interesting and had more going onwithin the section.
  • 4. After cropping the image I wanted to make thecolours brighter and stand out more by upping thecontrast and upping the brightness to make it seembrighter. In this now I feel like the composition isbetter, I feel your eye focus’s more on the middle ofthe photograph.
  • 5. Now, I will follow through with my idea with theblack and white effect. Upping the brightness andcontrast helped me by now I can get the black andwhite as light as I would want it by using the Blackand White effect within Adjustments whichenables you to change the brightness or darknessof certain colours within the photograph.
  • 6. To finish off the final image, I have just addeda simple Lens Correction filter and using acustom vignette, enabled me to make it asdark or light as I wanted, it helped me knowthe amount I wanted within the image.Darkening the edges making you eyes focusin the middle of the image.
  • 7. I thought it was finished but then I just re-added the last filter, Lens Correction whichmade the edges look darker and brings thephotograph in.

  • 12. FINAL EDITED PHOTOGRAPH
  • 13. As I have spoke about how I edited one of the images on the power point, I havenoticed that I have edited all of my images the same way near enough so insteadof repeating myself, I have decided to just explain what I did. To start of with anyimage that I have I will look at the image and decide whether I feel like it needscropping, by selecting a certain part of the image indicates which area has themost going on and what is most more interesting to the human eye and whatcame make someone admire that small section. Then I either up the contrast ordown the contrast as of with the brightness of an image as well because I enjoyhaving it bold and vibrant with the colours standing out as I feel like it will help megive the best kind of image that I could possibly give by giving me a slightadvantage. After I have messed around with the brightness and contrast to theprecise way I want it, I then go the adjustments for the image and go on black andwhite. This is essential as it enables me to play around on what certain bits Iwould like dark or light and what I want to stand out more within an image as I canselect a colour on the present to either make lighter or darker. This way I canhighlight certain parts within the image. Then after making it black and white to thestandard I want it, if I feel it could do with being brighter or darker or sorting thecontrast out, I will go back to the brightness and contrast and sort it out yet again. Then I will go on lens correction to add a filter which will darken the edges aroundthe image I have selected to edit and slightly bring the photograph in so your eyesgo to the centre of the image.
